Take A Relaxed Spring Break In Jamaica
Lots of people flock to Jamaica during their spring break for two reasons: Negril and Montego Bay. You can opt for Montego Bay where you can get caught in a whirlwind of activities, or Negril where you can just stretch out and kick your feet up. Whatever your choice, you are almost guaranteed a relaxing and laid-back vacation from classes and the stresses of real life. Nothing should spoil this valuable time spent during your spring break, everything should be about the beach, the sun and a whole lot of fun.
No matter how particular you’re tastes are, you’re sure to find something of interest in the resorts and spas at the Sunset Beach in Montego Bay. Playful and exciting, you’ll splash your way through the magnificent, new Pirate’s Paradise water park – with twists, turns, rides and slides for all ages. For those wanting something more sedate, there’s also the peaceful stretch of beach or the tropical gardens to relax in. Visit the resort spa for a relaxing full body treatment, or let loose your adventurous spirit by trying the various water sport activities being offered by the resort.
Jamaica is also the place to be if you want to try out some water and extreme sports during your spring break holiday. Why don’t you head to Falmouth for some Free Scuba Diving. For divers out there, there’s a wall off Falmouth that is about 30 to 40 feet deep. Chubb Castle, a Falmouth favorite, starts shallow, its top decorated with soft corals and basket sponges and its wall strung with rope sponges and black corals. A lot of tunnels and caves could be reached if you traverse the 35 to 90 feet length of chimney. Not only would you relish this really exciting experience, but it would be something to boast about when you get home.
Jet ski, paraglide, windsurf, or just plain surfing, feel free to try out these terrific water sports activities while you’re vacationing in Jamaica. If you ever decide to try your hand at the different water sports, the hotels are prepared with trained personnel who can assist you, as well as all the gear that you might need. The daytime activities at the beach, followed by the exuberant nightlife make Jamaica a great alternative to Spring Break in Florida!
